The information itself.
We collect information. Personal information is pertinent detail gained, for the ability of trained credit assessors, to be able to assess a loan application. The information is enough to identify person or persons, whether the information or assessment is true or not, and the manner in which the information or an opinion is collected . This detail includes, but is not limited to, identity and contact details, marital status, residential address, assets & liabilities, income – expenses and other appropriate information.
Private information regarding you’re health may need to be collected. This will impact a variety of insurances (e.g. mortgage insurance) involved in servicing your best interests as a duty. We need your consent to acquire sensitive information.
Method of Collection of the Information.
Abacus Home Loans requires you to provide the information. We will usually check the credit and other information you supply with another organisation who hold financial data. This could involve a request for a credit report from a credit reporting agency, when you apply for credit. We will let you know about the type of organisation prior to collecting that report. It may occur that third parties may collect your information on our behalf, as long as you are still providing that information.
